Makena State Park

Location: South of Wailea at the end of Wailea Alanui Road.

 

 

Description: Scenic wildland beach park characterized by prominent cinder cone Pu‘u Ola‘i and large white sand beach. Swimming during calm seas, bodysurfing, board surfing, shore fishing, and beach- related activities. No drinking water. CAUTION: Shore break can be dangerous.
