Description: Elevated on the coastal cliffs at Kealohi Point, He’eia State Park offers spectacular panoramic views of Kane’ohe Bay; including Mokoli'i (Chinaman’s Hat), Ahu o Laka (aka the Sandbar), Kapapa Island, Moku o Lo'e (Coconut Island), He'eia Fishpond, and the only barrier reef on O'ahu. Paved trails offer access to the waterfront below on both the north and south sides of the peninsula. The south side waterfront area borders He’eia Fishpond directly for an up-close look at the ancient Hawaiian fishpond wall.
